Merino Standard Pants

These easy pants feature a clean silhouette with a tapered cut toward the hem. They can be worn as a set with the matching jacket made from the same fabric. The inner waistband is finished with a curtain waistband (marbelt), and the crotch seam is neatly finished with piping.

The fabric is a flannel material made entirely in Hashima City, Gifu Prefecture, spun, woven, and finished, using Merino wool from southern New Zealand. It is crafted from an exceptionally rare part of Merino wool, woven slowly at high density to minimize stress on the yarn. Through repeated teasing and fulling processes, the fabric achieves an incredibly refined surface and excellent drape.
