Interior designer Pieter Peulen first began sharing photos of his own concrete home on social media as a personal project, a way to document his love of minimalism and raw, unfiltered materials. His signature style quickly struck a chord, attracting a huge audience: today, with more than half a million followers on Instagram and TikTok, Peulen has become known to many as ‘the guy with the concrete house’.

With this book, Pieter takes his passion a step further. He set out to explore the homes of kindred spirits who embrace concrete living and the bold yet elegant language of brutalism-inspired design. Each project featured here was thoughtfully curated and photographed by Pieter with his analogue camera, revealing not only striking interiors but also the stories and philosophies that shaped them.

Pieter Peulen is a Belgian visual creative, specialising in photography, interior, and furniture design. He creates inspiring content for fashion, design, and beauty brands, both online and offline. After studying interior and furniture design, Peulen turned his focus to photography and social media. As an interior influencer Pieter has more than half a million followers on Instagram and TikTok.
