By gently hand treating the raw metal surface with a fine abrasive, a lustrous but still muted shine is achieved. The manual and organic nature of this treatment will be visible as slight fluctuations in surface texture. Traces of the original manufacturing process might also be discernible. This finish will age and gain patina over time, as the metal interacts with its surroundings and reflects its travel through time.
