LEMAIRE is a fashion house led by Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran. Its collections balance form and function in thoughtful clothing and accessories designed for everyday life. Shaped by a cross-cultural sensibility and enriched by ongoing collaborations with artists and artisans, the wardrobe evolves season after season through modular silhouettes, distinctive materials, and subtle construction details that follow the body’s movement. Garments and accessories are made with care, using time-honoured techniques and fabrics sourced primarily from Europe and Japan. Each piece is designed to be layered, reinterpreted, and lived in over time. The house is rooted in Paris at 11 Place des Vosges, with flagship stores in Paris, Tokyo, and Seoul.

Christophe Lemaire founded his eponymous label in 1991 after honing his craft at Christian Lacroix and in several Paris design studios. Informed by his background in music, literature, and the applied arts, he went on to lead the artistic direction of Lacoste and Hermès, where he refined his design ethos and vision of clothing. Since 2014, he has focused exclusively on LEMAIRE, while also co-directing the Uniqlo R&D Center in Paris and the Uniqlo U line.

Sarah-Linh Tran trained as a literary publisher before embracing fashion as a medium of expression. Since joining LEMAIRE as co-artistic director in 2010, she has shaped its image and creative direction, bringing pluralistic influences and new silhouettes to the collections. Together with Christophe Lemaire, she co-directs the Uniqlo R&D Center in Paris and the Uniqlo U line. In 2025 she founded the publishing house Éditions Siegelbaum Tran, launching with a monograph on the work of Carlos Peñafiel.
